Megger Baker 99-EP1000-1500RC Motor Link, 1500 A Split-Core CTs
Overview
Dynamic (online) motor testing inside a motor control cabinet exposes personnel to arc flash hazards. With the EP1000 installed in the MCC, testing is done from outside: the user attaches one cable from the EXP4000 to the exterior port, and the Surveyor EXP software loads the motor's test data automatically.
The EP1000 is passive and unpowered when the analyzer is detached, with peak operating voltage of 5 V or less. It connects directly to motors up to 1000 V and tests higher-voltage motors through MCC PTs and CTs. Typical data acquisition takes one to four minutes.
Features
- Single-cable connection eliminates misconnections
- 3 × 1500 A split-core CTs, 600 V max, 2 × 2 in window
